Washington 3rd Ward Girls Camp
Above are all the girls who went to girls camp.
This is my 3rd year going up to girls camp in this ward. I absolutely LOVE the YW's we have amazing girls and I feel so blessed to be in their company. I have to say going to girls camp without being a camp director is MUCH funner :-) I loved being with the girls and talking to them and finding sooooo much more about them then ever before. Our ward theme this year was "The Wizard of Oz". We made this cake for the stake dinner... mind you this was made at camp. Looks dang good if you ask me.
Shay Shay showing off the "box of shame" as the girls called it. It's new this year and it's like the back of a semi truck lined with 3 tiers of beds. I gotta say clean up was LOTS easier this year. It wasn't nearly as bad as what I was expecting.
Taelor showing off her pregnant belly for our skit. It was hillarious when we were down before our skit began a girl sitting close to Tae was talking to her friend loudly and said: "I didn't know they allowed pregnant girls to come to girls camp". I guess we did a "swell" job of making the belly look real :-)
Abbey showing off her sweet outfit for the skit. Don't you just love the chest hair?
Our newest Beehive Allea she did amazing and we learned so much about her. She loves art and is SOOO funny!!
Everyone including leaders that went to girls camp. This was on our Ward Day... my favorite day.
We then found this tree tipped over but still alive and the girls thought why not climb to the middle of it. Us leaders said, go for it, you already signed your waivers... JK. FYI: no one got hurt during the whole stay.
Love these girls!!
Our Ward camp director and her daughter. Sara Nisson did such an amazing job and she was so sweet. Thanks for all your hard work.
It was a fantastic time. It was hard to leave Arianna for 4 whole days but I knew she was in good hands with my parents and her daddy. It was nice to come home and take a hot shower and see my beautiful family. Also I was 13 weeks along in my pregnancy but felt fantastic. I was just getting over my morning sickness and was feeling good. I felt my uterus for the first time while laying down at girls camp. It was so exciting and didn't slow me down one bit. I love being pregnant... just wished I looked it.
