35 Weeks

Here is our precious cargo tucked away in my uterus. We had an ultrasound at 33 weeks and she was 5 lbs. I couldn't believe it. She's growing so quickly. There is only 5 weeks left before my due date, I can't believe how close it is to the end.

Everything's going good. My blood pressure has been staying the same and my doctor was very impressed. Usually when you have high bp early on it tends to get worse as the pregnancy progresses. The doctor said if my bp continues to be the same we can have a 'natural' pregnancy. I'm real excited about that. I would rather not be induced. I also want to do it without an epidural, but we will see if I want to take the pain. I know I can take the pain, but I will find out if I WANT to take with the pain. We will just take it one day at a time and roll with the punches.

Also on the ultrasound she had her feet all the way up to her head. So she was split in half doing acrobatic moves. It was real cute. Here is a picture to prove it. That thing by her eye is her foot not her hand! It's not a very clear picture and she looks kinda distorted because the ultrasound tech wanted to get a good pic of the foot. She is so fun already.

At my last visit the doctor felt my belly and her head is perfectly in place between my pelvic bones. He said he could move her head a little and there was no way she's moving from that position. Also everything is closed, so she will be cooking for a while longer :-). Everything's going great so far and i'm getting SOOO excited to meet this little gal!!
