27 Weeks

Baby Girl's doing great. She is growing and looking so perfect and cute. She is measuring in the 56th percentile, so just right. Things seem to be going as great as they can be. My blood pressure has stayed low and I don't have the elephant ankles this time around. YAY!! Also the placenta looks great and healthy. Her "O" got a little bigger this time the Dr. says it's normal with her growth.

 

Here is the cute little face I get to see in person, not too much longer!! She's beautiful and precious and I'm getting so anxious to meet her. I'm now 29 weeks and i only have 10 more weeks until I can see her. It's crazy how fast this is going by.
The Dr. said he will induce me 1 week early and wants me to go to SL 3-4 weeks before my due date. I told him that 2 weeks before my due date is Christmas Eve and if i'm not in labor i'm going to be in STG. So for now the plan is to go up to SL a day or so before my induction date (which as of now will be Dec. 31st) but we will see how it goes. I have always thought she would come right around Christmas so we will find out. My Dr. today also said alot of babies born with birth defects like to come early because of the extra stress on their bodies. So we will see what happens and obviously they are keeping a good eye on me and her till she decides to come. Seriously I can't believe how fast it's coming!! Aaaahhhhh!!!

The above 2 pictures are of her omphalocele. Like I said it's grown so you can actually see it and they were able to measure it this time. It's measureing just over 2 cm big. Not too bad, they are thinking it will be around 3 cm when she's born. I'm getting use to the fact that my baby will be taken from me for a while until she recovers from her surgery and is ready to go home.

Her heart rate has finally started to slow down a bit. Her heart still looks great and healthy. I go into MFM in 2 weeks so I will have the Dr. look at her heart again and make sure everything's still looking good. We also need to go to SL to visit with the surgeon and the OBGYN before she comes.

It's hard to make out but she is sporting eyelashes already!! I couldn't believe it, hopefully she will have beautiful lashes like Arianna. I seriously cant get enough of Arianna's beautiful lashes!

 

This is a profile picture. Like i said she's growing perfect and doing great so far. I now have to go into the Dr every week for non stress tests or NST's and every 3 weeks they will ultrasound her to see how she's doing.
