We went to the dr's to get her 2nd round of shots and the dr. said she's doing GREAT. Above average developmentally. She was 13 lbs 10 oz (51%) and 26 in. (96%). That's what she's been averaging. Hopefully she will continue that all the way through childhood and she can be tall and skinny (like daddy). But we will see. The Dr. also said "well she's probably ready to begin introducing solids". I was shocked! She's my little baby and honestly I love that she needs me and only me to survive right now, I didn't know if I could handle letting other things aid in her survival. Then I got over myself and said "You know what she is probably ready".
Oh she is so precious! She is wearing the bonnette Aunt LaRee made her. I LOVE it.
She got RSV 2 or 3 weeks ago. That was sad to see her in so much pain and me not being able to help her much. We would go to the hospital once a day to get her snot sucked out. She didn't ever have very much mucus but it was nice to have that clear everything out. She was a champ through the whole thing. I got the worst cold I have ever gotten and I gave it to her that's how she got the RSV. The first week was just a bad cold then the second week came and I wanted to die! It was like the flu mixed with the worst headache EVER and not being able to breath on top of everything. I think it did the same thing for her. The first week wasn't too bad then the second week was a nightmare! I had to load her up on Tylenol and baby motrin for her to even function. But all was good and soon enough we were both better! It was the worst 3 weeks of my life so far of being a mom, but still it wasn't too bad. She learned how to breath out of her mouth and she never got dehydrated. Soo thankful for that. Her cousin got it and had to be admitted to the hospital, that was sad! When she was finally better I forgot how much fun she was. She loves to smile and be the best baby there is. I'm glad to have my happy baby back!
