The Langston Family: Mr. Thomas

This is the first day we meet Thomas. We were so surprised to see he had RED hair. We make fun of my brother and sister with red hair constantly so they were happy about his hair color.

I found this nice throw up from Storm after Thomas and Storm were in the same room together... hummm... luckly this hasn't happened since. We had a nice long talk about being nice to animals.

Justin and Brittany came to St. George the same weekend Thomas was here so we did a lot of fun things. This is us having fun at the sand dunes.

Thomas is so fun and easy to get along with. He has his fair share of "issues" mostly dealing with touch ie: combing hair, brushing teeth, changing diapers, going to the bathroom, clipping nails, putting on lotion, using soap, cleaning out scrapes, taking naps. Whenever we try to do these "normal" things it turns into a full on break down with lots of anger and fear. Poor kiddo. He also doesn't like to listen and he hides and has ran away a few times. It's been real fun :)

Arianna and him get along so well and have so much fun together. When Thomas wakes up in the morning Arianna always smiles at him and says "Hi Thomas" and is so happy to have him at our home.

Having fun in the backyard. This kid loves to play. He has so much energy I'm having to drink a daily Dr. Pepper to keep up with him.

While he was visiting his mom we went and saw December's headstone. It looks perfect and I was so excited to see it on her grave site.

We started a new behavior chart. They have 5 cards at the beginning of the day and then depending on their behavior the cards get taken away and given back. If they have 5 cards at the end of the day they get a sticker and after they get 10 stickers they get a prize at the store. This is the only way I have been able to get him to listen to me and do what I say. He loves the idea and is doing AWESOME with it. Arianna is having fun tagging along for the ride.
